Upstart Co-Lab, The Association of Art Museum Directors, and The Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums have partnered on a first-of-its kind survey on impact investing by independent museums of art and design in the United States.

61 museums with endowments totaling $10 billion participated in the survey, describing how they are aligning money with mission and values – in particular their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
