Brinshore Development
Rich Sciortino of Brinshore Development has been partnering with artist Theaster Gates in Chicago and other Midwestern cities for more than five years. Projects include the conversion of a former 36-unit Chicago Housing Authority project into a 32-unit mixed income development and arts center programmed and managed by Gates’ Rebuild Foundation. The Dorchester Art + Housing Collaborative offers sustainably-developed live/work space for artist residents, plus youth programming and public space.1
